Swapping terms in multiplication does not change the outcome. More precisely:
a ⋅ b = b ⋅ a
Here are some examples:
5 ⋅ 7 = 7 ⋅ 5
x ⋅ (y + 10) = (y + 10) ⋅ x
(m ⋅ n) ⋅ 2 = 2 ⋅ (m ⋅ n)
